Mickey Cleeter President
Mickey has worked in the asbestos, hazardous materials abatement industry for over twenty five years, becoming one of Western Canada's foremost authorities
on hazardous materials removal. He was involved in some of the first asbestos removals in British Columbia, and some of the largest projects.
As well as experience, Mickey has developed great skills in estimating, supervising and management, offering practical hands-on solutions for clients.
Many of our clients are general contractors who operate on tight time schedules, and Mickey has earned a reputation for completing the job on budget
and in a timely manner.
In recognition of his expertise, Mickey was invited to join the committee that developed the "Asbestos Abatement Worker's Training Course" for the
Asbestos Abatement Association of British Columbia.

Mike Reading, Vice President/Senior Project Manager
Mike has supervised some of the largest and most complex asbestos projects in British Columbia. He has extensive experience handling crews of up to 100 men.
He ensures that materials and equipment are ordered in a timely manner; safety standards are implemented and maintained; and sub-trades are organized and directed.
He ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Mike manages the field operations of the Hazardous Materials Division of Phoenix Enterprises. He has been instrumental in transferring the skills learned from the asbestos
abatement industry to mould remediation projects.

Dave Wardell, Partner
Dave has worked with Mickey Cleeter and Mike Reading for twenty years, and in 2002, joined them as a partner in Phoenix Enterprises.
Dave has progressed from Asbestos Worker to lead-hand to Foreman. Dave has completed courses and training in lead abatement; mould remediation; and controlling and
remediating bioaerosols in buildings. Dave has project managed numerous mould, lead paint and other hazardous materials projects, as well as some of the largest asbestos
removal projects in B.C. These include The BC Ferry Corporation and the former Woodward’s Building in Vancouver, BC.
Dave is now the managing director of the UK Office in the Northeast of England, Phoenix Hazmat Limited

Charmayne Billey, Office Manager
Charmayne has been with Phoenix Enterprises for 5 years now and has brought 20 years of accounting skills to the company.
As office manager in this fast growing business, her duties are varied, extending from one end of the spectrum of being a personal assistant to the 4 present
owners, to the other end of the spectrum, directing the financial well being of the company.

Sheldon White, Estimator / Project Manager
Sheldon has been in the asbestos industry for over 20 years. He joined P.E. when they were formed in 1996. Sheldon has progressed through the company,
from Foreman on many large-scale jobs, to Field Supervisor and to Project Manager/ Estimator. Sheldon now enjoys a large client base that recognizes his
skills and experience in solving complex issues on large & small projects.

Dan Reading, Partner Estimator / Project Manager
Dan joined P.E. in 2004. Dan has been in the asbestos industry for over 20 years and had been the Project Manager for asbestos removal at BC Hydro Burrard Thermal for
15 years prior to joining P.E. Dan has been in charge of planning projects, overseeing budgets and organizing and supervising asbestos crews. Dan was also
responsible for the training of asbestos crews. Dan had to meet many tight time restraints and schedules during shut down operations at the plant and has now brought
his expertise and knowledge to the team at P.E..

Mike Shuttleworth – Safety Officer / Warehouse Manager
Mike joined Phoenix Enterprises In February of 2007.
Mike has 20 years of Transportation and Warehouse supervisor experience with Martin Brower of Canada, which delivers to McDonald's Restaurants. Previous to
that Mike had 4 Years of Warehouse Supervisor with Crown Packaging Ltd. He was on the Safety Committee of both companies, has Level 1 First Aid, and completed
an accident investigation course at The Justice Institute. Mike is currently our union liaison and in charge of mobilizing workers to job sites. He is also in
charge of Health & Safety for Phoenix Enterprises Ltd.

Sandi Lindicoat – Field Superintendent
Sandi has been in the asbestos industry for twenty years working on all types of large & small complex projects. Sandi has spent 15 years in a Foreman
capacity and is now the Field Superintendent. Sandi brings her knowledge and expertise to the job sites. Ensuring work is performed in a safe environment
and schedules are met.

Spray Systems Personnel
Doug Vancise, Spray Division Manager
Doug graduated from BCIT with a Diploma in Building Technology in 1988 and joined Alexander Insulation as an estimator. Doug took over all Estimating and Project Management
in the Spray Division for Phoenix Enterprises in1993. In December of 2000 he became the Spray Division Manager.
Doug has been involved in all aspects, including sprayed fireproofing, sprayed thermal, sprayed polyurethane foam and intumescent paint.
Doug has worked on the estimating and project management in regards to all sizes of projects including the Vancouver International Airport, Metrotown and the Abbotsford Regional Correctional Centre.
In the spring of 2000 Doug was also directed to assist the Toronto Division in starting a Spray Division. He successfully bid the Lester B. Pearson International Airport
that was completed in 2003 for a total value in excess of 11 million dollars.

Ed Hawkey, Spray Division Superintendnet
Ed has been involved in the Spray Industry for over twenty years. Ed started as an apprentice and became a Journeyman Sprayer in 1988. He worked as
a Sprayer/Foreman for 10 years and became the Superintendent in 1998.
Ed has looked after crews that range from approx. 20 to 65 men, on all sizes of projects and in all aspects / materials of the spray industry.
Ed has trained most of the journeyman sprayers that are currently employed by our company, looked after the safety program and been responsible for handling our inventory.
