24-HR EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Disposing of asbestos-containing drywall can be one of the most complicated aspects of your renovation. Since WorkSafeBC implemented new regulations in 2015 preventing waste transfer stations from accepting drywall, without a date stamp or asbestos test report, homeowners and contractors have been struggling to dispose of drywall. Unfortunately, that means more and more drywall continues to be dumped illegally on the side of the roads. We are licensed by the Ministry of Environment to accept and dispose of asbestos-containing drywall. We have a complete facility with 34 bins, 4 trucks and an 80-ft drive-over scale dedicated to the collection and disposal of asbestos-containing drywall.

We work with directly with municipalities to safely dispose of asbestos-containing drywall that's been illegally dumped.

We begin by ensuring that the disposal site is contained and cordoned off to the public. We then send our team of experts out to the site to appropriately bag the waste and load it into one of our disposal trucks. Once we've loaded all the waste, we check that the site is clear of hazardous materials before bringing the waste back to our facility.

Give us a call and we will dispatch a team to the location.

While our office is located in Surrey, we pickup illegal drywall dumps from around the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Our certified workers are trained with handling asbestos-containing drywall both safely and efficiently.
