DEMOLITION

Our demolition services are a natural extension of the asbestos abatement that we have been specializing in for the past 20 years. Asbestos is not actually harmful unless it is disturbed. However, if building materials become uncovered and exposed during renovations or demolition, the fibres can become airborne and pose the risk of being inhaled by the occupants of the building or the workers on site. We offer full-scale demolition, interior and selective demolition and asbestos-containing materials (ACM) demolition for residential and commercial projects.

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral found in trace amounts throughout the world. Asbestos fibres are microscopic in nature (roughly the diameter of a human hair) which makes them difficult to detect with the naked eye. Asbestos is recognized for being fire retardant, extremely durable and resistant to chemical erosion.

These properties made it a popular building material between 1950 and 1990. The strength of asbestos, combined with its resistance to heat made it a popular material of choice in products such as roofing shingles, floor tiles, ceiling materials, cement products and automotive parts.

If your property was built or renovated before 1990 it is likely that some parts of the building will contain asbestos.

When demolishing a building with asbestos proper procedures must be followed.

In addition to offering full-scale and ACM demolition, we also offer interior and selective demolition services. The selective demolition process requires the ability to work around operating businesses, condensed working areas, strict timetables and construction budgets. Our asbestos abatement technology allows us to safely remove asbestos with minimal impact on the daily activity of businesses. All of our demolition services are in accordance with WorkSafeBC.

OUR COMMITMENT IS TO YOU

Our asbestos removal methods and technologies are the most advanced and safest available. Our technology allows us to remove asbestos with minimal impact on the daily activities of households and businesses. This results in the most cost-effective, least disruptive way of removing the hazardous material.

But more importantly, we do this while ensuring the safety of our clients and our workers. We strive to make contaminated buildings safe and comfortable for our clients to go back home to.

We're equipped to handle both small and large demolition projects around the province.

As a leader in the hazardous materials removal industry we play a critical role in the development of 21st century infrastructure. In order for new, more efficient buildings to be built, the old hazardous buildings must first be remediated. With a diversified portfolio of both hand-demolition and heavy-machinery demolition equipment, we work to ensure a safe, effective and economical demolition.
